Camo
This camo cake was for a one year old boy's birthday party. The 'smash' cake was done with a little deer and his name!
Toy Story Cake
This is a three tier cake done in the theme of the Toy Story movies (both 1 &2). I bought the little figurines so I chose a couple of background patterns (the stars and clouds) and the ever present 'ball' for the cake. The bottom tier is chocolate, the middle tier is chocolate and vanilla, the top tier which is the ball is vanilla.
Lettering
These letters were also part of the Tractor cake. They can be done in any color for any cake. The wires can adjust in length to add height and to stagger the rows of lettering as I've done here. They do not add to the cost of the cake. It would be included with cake and can be made to say (almost) anything.
Harvest Items
These elements were made for the Tractor cake above. The tractor pulled a trailer behind it with bales of hay, pumpkins, a bushel of apples and a present on it. They are all completely edible. Any of these types of items can be made to add that little something extra to any kind of cake.
Viva Las Vegas
This cake was made for a 30th birthday party. The wife was surprising the husband with a trip to Las Vegas and he didn't know until the cake was wheeled out. It was surrounded by edible poker chips and printed showgirls, but those were added right before the presentation and my pictures were too dark to show here. If I get some better ones, I'll post them later.
Yo Gabba Gabba!
For my niece's first birthday, her parents (and big sister) wanted a Yo Gabba Gabba! theme since she loves that show. It was a five layer (chocolate, vanilla AND strawberry) covered in yummy buttercream and fondant and each side was decorated like the shows background sets. On the top was the Yo Gabba Gabba logo but it said "Yo Ava Ava!" instead since that is the birthday girl's name.
Angel Overlooking Frog Pond
This cake was done for a very special reason. A girl that I grew up with, named Sarah, passed away last year. Her mother and her daughter requested this cake for her birthday. Sarah collected frogs-hence the frog pond. They also wanted some special figurines to represent Sarah and her daughter, Nattie. Doing this cake was so precious to me and I will cherish the opportunity always.
Slumber party Cake
This was made for a slumber party themed birthday for a 7 year old. The birthday girl loves Junie B. Jones books, so that is what the book on her bed says. There are little slippers on the 'floor' next to it and her initial embossed into the headboard. All completely edible. The hair and skin tone were made to match the birthday girl.
Back To School
This cake was done as a "thank you" for the transportation dept of a local school district.
Tropical Wedding
This cake was done for a couple who had a destination wedding in Hawaii and then a reception for family and friends back at home. The groom designed the cake features. The pair of turtles, the crossed palm trees, the pink plumeria flowers and the "his/hers" flip flops were all significant to the couple.
Cowgirl Natalie Cake
Yee Haw!!! This cake was done for a dear friend's birthday. A Texas gal to the bone, she loves all things 'cowgirl'. The bottom is a cow hide pattern with a "lead rope" trim around the base. The middle section is a pink bandana tied 'bandit' style. The top layer is blue jeans w/ belt buckle. The topper is a little boot with the birthday girl's initial embossed on the side. (hard to tell all the detail from this pic)
